What's so bad about Fox News (or the news in general)

lol there is nothing innheritly bad with fox news. the problems it starts is how they twist the news, frame certain things.. but they have agendas and needs to fill just like anyone else. the problem lies with mainstream society moreso in my opinion, fox news is just a cog in the wheel. but to answer your question, people get mad at media like fox because they manipulate peoples perceptions of them

Yes Fox News is especially bad. They're still trying to support the Republican/GOP but the GOP doesn't make any sense anymore so the people reporting on it have to get weirder and weirder.

Fox is "bad'", I guess, but the thing is that it's just tryna make a buck. If hard-news stories sold better than the crap they spew right now, they'd do that.... the agenda isn't a "GOP" agenda, it's a "Money Making" agenda. 

Fox gets an INSANE amount of views.... so why would they change? LOL 

Also, people tend to spurt out the ridiculous quotes, but the majority of those are coming from the "Newstainment" shows that are on in the evening. Yes, those shows are quite obviously there for the pure purpose of making money, and are more entertainment than anything else - and it works because they know that the majority of people in the US are weak and will watch it (and that they do... in HUGE numbers)

During the day, they actually have more "normal" stuff on the news

I think a lot of people try to take the responsibility off of themselves for this kinda shit. If these corporations didn't make a TON of money spewing this garbage, they wouldn't do it.. Period. And the only way they make money is because the majority of people in this country are fucking idiots and watch it religiously, or watch it PURELY bc it's so crazy... doesn't matter WHY it's being watched- advertisers still get the viewers 

It's on us to fix this kinda shit. Or we can sit back and say that we wish companies didn't try to maximize profits- but that one REALLY seems like a losing battle lol
