I met this girl yesterday on the street. This time I tend to be more careful. Rather than just leading the convo, I just leaned back and let her contribute to the interaction. We talked about pretty much everything (chit - chat, our jobs, where and who we are living with etc..). The main point is she just dyed her hair and didn't like it (redhead baby!!) and she was complaining about it and looking for my validation. Even later on she told me that I gave her a bit of confidence (I just told that her hair looks acceptable lol). Meanwhile her best friend called and she immediately introduced me to her on the phone - we could consider it as an investment-. I took the phone started talking to her best friend and explained her in the opposite direction. I told her that I am a shy person and Sofi just approached me on the street, she was cracking up ;) Then I got her number and left her. 2 - 3 hours later;
Her: Hello honeyyy x
Me: Hey how is your eve going babe?
Her: Its going very well thank you, How about yours? How is the watermelon? (She saw that I was carrying a slice of it, told me that she LOVES it)
Me: Im just watching boxing and enjoying the watermelon. Its super delicious!! Should I keep some for you?
Her: Haha sounds great. I am good thank you. I am not the healthy type. Unless its hot x
Me: (the next day) You don't need to work about being healthy anymore. Im like a medicine. The prescription is take me once a day and get rid of all pain, sickness etc... ;)
Her: I don't take medicine :) (Upsss she didn't take the joke well. This non reactive respond destroyed my game plan so I thought at this point its worth to carry on the convo in a casual way and throw another joke in a bit. )
Me: Did you do much yesterday eve? (we were talking in the eve but didn't really know she was partying or just chilling at home or getting laid lol)
Me: (1 min later) Apart from telling jessica how I approached u :)) (she was really excited about meeting me, even wanted to take a picture of me to show her best friend -jessica- I didn't allow her to take a photo of me obviously. But I knew that she was gonna talk about me)
No response... Can you just tell me where I made the mistake and how can I reengage her? I am thinking to give a day break or two and text her something like;
" Omg my supervisor just changed her hair colour to RED!! And guess what she is complaining as well. I think it is the new fashion.."
Or any other alternative that u can suggest??

Just found an article about colours. It says red indicates passion and sometimes the aggresiveness. Thinking about ur hair; First bit is nice but can i say second part is a bit scary?? :))
Any thoughts about these texts?

Like with this redhead chick i approached i instantly thought of lana del rey, turned it into a joke and texted "waddup Banana del rey", might not seem in context for you but you just seem sooo logical when crafting these texts and need to...let go a lot more.
or even just text her, "Hey sexy Ron Weasley ;)"
Maybe you need to get more english speaking friends, like to get a grasp of our humor and shit. Immerse yourself in it: watch 8 out of ten cats, Russell Howard's Good news, Ricky Jervais or just any english comedy you can get your hand on.
