Other than just trying on a bunch of stuff and/or getting it tailored - you can search ebay for quality korean clothes. Since it's designed for Koreans it runs on the small size and at a very low price. I bought 2 expensive looking blazers for $100 for both including shipping and they fit great.
Another option is www.petermanningnyc.com/. I haven't used them yet but they have free return shipping for 30 days. They specialize in clothing for men 5'8 and under. It's expensive but should be good quality and a better fit.

What style of clothes are you into?
I'm looking for more mature casual clothing. I kinda dress skater-ish right now. I recently got some solid colored v-necks for cheap, but its tough to find pants that fit well without riding the nuts and I REALLY like those long sleeve thermals with the 3 buttons on top. I like the way RSD Max dresses.

I love me some chuck taylors, timberland boots, polo sneakers and white nike air force 1 sneakers. I wear any of them depending on my mood.
I also get good feedback from girls when i wear my navy bomber jacket, a white t shirt and some nice fitting jeans (i have mostly levis and nudie jeans)
And FYI europeans do dress better than americans lol ;)
