Aside from the overall awesomeness. Pay attention to how they systematically shut off the logical brain and make it all about do, do, do. Young men no longer have the Coming of Age rituals we once had that cut them off from their emotions.

Just do a military-style camp

Just do a military-style camp for a week, they're not that expensive and you're not committed to anything. Everyone should do one. I did one before choosing to go in or not.

Those are some badass dudes..I just realized that the whole concept on numbing emotion and pain is exactly what my soccer coach has done over the years, and it truly does breed winners (back to back state champions). IT doesn't even take natural athletics or talent, just drive

I'll watch all of this another time. I watched a few weeks ago an hour long special about the training the rescue teams have to go through. Brutal. So much determination. I'll see if I can find it again.
