Hey  you money hungry bastards,

This thread will now serve as the all encompassing money making thread for our community. Let me explain:

Do you want to make more money than you currently do? Post here.

Have a new project you're working on? Tell us about it.

Well versed in a particular area of business? Educate us.

Lets get a free flowing discussion going where we can provide value to each other. Money is not everything. It is however, extremely important to finance a lifestyle that is AWESOME. If you want to travel, pick up more girls, have more flexible schedules, etc. The best way to accomplish that is passive income. What are some ways we can achieve passive income:

- Sports Betting

- Stock Market

- Forex

- SEO

- PPC

- Mobile Apps

The list goes on and on. There is no excuse to NOT have multiple sources of income in 2014. With a little hard work and dedication we can increase our net income and start making more money.

As this thread progresses, my grand vision would be having multiple segments of users breaking off into Mastermind Groups where they can bounce ideas off each other, share advice, and most importantly, help each other make more money. If you consider yourself an expert in a topic please add value as you see fit. The community provides us with an inexhaustible amount of resources. The best resoure we have is each other. Networking is essential.

Manwhore has assured me he will stop by in this thread when he has free time and answer questions and provide input. He is busy however, so it's up to us to help each other as much as possible.

I look forward to hearing from you guys. Post a short summary and maybe some monetary goals you wish to achieve.

And look out for my comprehensive sports betting thread coming soon ;)

SPORTS BETTING

Sports Betting Guide:

I've been sports betting for a little over two years now and seeing solid returns. I focus solely on MMA and dabble in soccer.

Firstly, if you are interested in sports betting you must open an account. The best prop bets and most complete sportsbook is www.5dimes.eu. The best live sports betting site is www.bookmaker.eu. This site allows you to bet MMA between rounds (extremely useful) and between quarters for sports like NBA, NFL, etc.

Here are my ten commandments for sports betting:

1. Only gamble with money you are willing to lose.

2. Only bet on sports you watch regularly. Tail (following someone elses bet) experienced bettors occasionally.

3. Bet in units. For example, I have $500 in my account. $10 is my standard unit. So I have effectively have 50 units. Bet one unit, sometimes two if you're extra confident.

4. Do not bet on your favorite team or athlete.

5. Do not bet when you are intoxicated. (Bet on Mitt Romney small once after watching an episode of Colbert Repoort derp)

6. Do your research before placing a bet.

7. DO NOT CHASE. If you are down on the night, do not keep betting to recoup your winnings. Live to see another day.

8. Join a forum with likeminded bettors to hear different opinions.

9. Tail at your own risk. (Hope you didn't tail Mayweather)

10. Avoid parlays in most cases. (A parlay is a multi-team/athlete bet. Every team/athlete must win for the bet to cash otherwise you lose.

Sports Betting Lines:

This will be an extremely simple explanation. Lets say the Patriots are playing the Jets. The Patriots are -200. This means they are 2-1 favorites. You must bet $200 on the Patriots to win $100. The Jets on the other hand, are +240. This means you must bet $100 to win $240. This is called the Moneyline. Whoever wins the game, wins the bet.

Next, you have the spread. These lines will historically be coser to EVEN ($100 to win $100). So say the Patriots are -7 at -110. You must bet $110 to win $100. The only caveat is the Patriots must win by 8 point for the bet to cash. If they win by 7 points, the bet is a PUSH which means you get your initial bet returned ($110).

Here is a link with a similar explanation:

http://www.betusa.ag/sportsbook/beginners_guide_gambling

What Sports Can You Bet On:

Virtually anything. Seriously. NFL, NHL, WNBA, UFC, Bellator, Golf, Tennis, Soccer, so on and so forth.

I won about $80 in 2012 betting on Obama to win a couple of swing states in the electoral college lol. I believe it was Ohio and Florida.

Prop Betting:

Prop betting is betting on a certain outcome or statistics. For example, Aaron Rodgers will throw at least two touchdowns (-120).

I usually bet on MMA prop bets. Last weekend Ronda Rousey by (T)KO was (+857). Shit ton of money to be made there.

There is also a lot of money to be lost here because you are depending on an athlete's performance which is extremely volatile. Read interviews and look at recent trends if you are going to prop bet.

The biggest prop bet I've hit: TJ Grant wins (T)KO of the Night $5 to win $115 (+2300)

This is a basic guideline. If you guys have any additional questions or need advice, I'm here for that. I'll post up some of my bet slips once I put money back in my account.

I reccommend that everyone try it at least once. Minimum deposits are typically $60-$100 on a sportsbook. It also adds another dimension to watching sports! Hope y'all gained something from this. Now go make some $$$$

You can't make money off

You can't make money off sports betting, stock market or forex.

You're just an individual with huge information disadvantage.  Odds are always against you.

If you really want to make money then start by creating something of value from scratch ( like an app or something ) and then sell the whole company.

but if you still interested in those areas :

sports betting :

either arbitrage betting

or

become a quantitative analyst and calculate your own odds ( I've heard there are people making millions this way , but again you need information )

stock market & forex :

what's happened in the past is going to happen in future too. so detect patterns in the past 6 months and trade based on those. keep yourself updated.

PPC and SEO are great ways to go.

I once affiliated for an online company and with a $20 PPC Campaing I managed to earn 300 euros. it was too good to be true so I thought it might be some kind of scam or something and it took me two months to receive and cash the cheque. I missed a big opportunity there.

I have experience with running multiple small blogs, which need minimal maintanance and effort and will bring you some passive revenue.

I've have the same problem I

I've have the same problem I have had  with just about everything. I jump in balls deep without a specific game plan then burn out. Haha so I said fuck it. I'm sticking to selling tshirts on Facebook until I'm bringing in some big gains. I've had a couple successful campaigns but not anything huge yet. It's simply a matter of launching a shit ton and stayin with what sells. This is all I've pretty much been doing with my evenings the past week. Design shirt, launch campaign. I test with a small amount. I no sales I don't fart around with trying to make it profitable, I just can it and move on to throwing out more campains. Eventually something sticks an THEN you can optimize it. Will report back when I hit a big one.

After this I want to move into ppc and launching a personal fitness site.

Just becuase you guys can't

Just becuase you guys can't make money betting on sports doesn't mean others cannot.

Think about it this way: Some people are largely successful at PPC. Some are awesome at SEO. Some people make bank betting sports. Find out what works for you and do that. It's all about diversification and not laying all your eggs in one basket. Multiple streams of passive income is the goal until you find "your calling".

I'm just sharing my experience. I've made money sports betting but I know I'm gonna turn red in long run if I keep betting.

Mark Cuban, one of the brightest entrepreneur I know once started a sports betting hedge fund and then it was shut down silently.  [ google it ]

if these guys can't beat it, what does it tell you ?

Focus on creating something of value and then monetize it. I dunno ... comics, animations, educational vids, funny vids, apps, articles, stories ...

Yes he failed, he's a billionaire , he's smart himself and he has access to the smartest people. who wouldn't want to work for mark cuban ?

if he can't do it , what are the chances you can do it , let's just be realistic here.

all I'm saying is that instead of building an airplane from scratch why don't you try building bicycles and see how it goes.

all being said , I know there are people making millions betting on sports, but they are calculating their own odds. and they bet when it's EV+ so it's a win for them in long term.

You can manage to make some money arbitrage betting if you have a capital over $30k and can deal with headaches bookies are gonna give you.

They gonna close your acc, freeze funds, all these stupid things to keep you away from arbitrage betting.

Okay, the past two weeks or

Okay, the past two weeks or so I've been constantly hustling teespring campagins on facebook. Ive only just started to make profit from this and abandoned it already lol. I have a few winning designs and ads, will obviously let those run its course but I'm changing directions. Selling tshirts on facebook can make you money. One of the guys I've been masterminding with is making 250% ROI on all the ad spend he sends to his shirts. this results with him making a few grand each week. Great cash! Im on my way there, just broke into positive ROI but I'm stopping and changing focuses. Why? That will get me good and designing tshirts and making fb ads... and thats about it. itll make me random money and could disappear at any time.

MW is 100% right when he says we need to be making websites (surprise of the year). I've already got one up and running, just waiting for my credit card to accept my payment (thanks teespring!) and then I'm going to buy a bunch more.

There are SO many directions I can run with this and the past two days now more than ever before I'm pretty convinced I'll be quitting my job in 1-3 months. 6 months at by far the most.. its inevitable.

Yo guys, So I've been super

Yo guys,

So I've been super busy as of late with school. Just thought I would throw up a quick update and see what everyone else is doing....

I've got a bunch of tests this next week, 6 interviews with different logistics companies (my major), and I'm also working for a company in LA through telecommuting. I do transcriptions for them from English to English so it's super easy but very time consuming. For those who don't know what that is, I listen to audio and write it down. Think of the people in court rooms. So I'm definitely making some big moves as far as money and academics go. On the girl front, I've locked down my primary and I'm essentially wifed up. I do take opportunities where I can get them but I'm not actively going out and gaming chicks :'(

Sometimes you gotta put new girls on the backburner and get other areas of your life handled first. That's one of the biggest takeaways I can give you guys (especially younger dudes). I always see guys get so wrapped up in game and they look back at their lives and think "Damn, I banged a bunch of bitches but really have nothing to show for it." Get shit handled and the pussy will come.

I almost had a threesome but I'll write about that in my other thread sometime when I get a chance.

Hopefully I'm able to make it on the call tomorrow and at least do a little intro but I probably won't stay long. Hope everyone is killing it, drop a line and let me know how it's going.

Cheers!

Just built a small shitty

Just built a small shitty website lol. learning like crazy though. Its kinda tough but I'm juggling a few different things at once. Eventually I want to get into running a fitness business. This year Im going to look for a few bodies to whip into shape while I get my certification.. Not some shitty personal trainer cert but theres a huge course run by a top sports nutritionist, same stuff that is taught to university kids getting their bachelor in nutrition and exercise science. I'm looking at a few different business in different niches and basically want to reverse engineer their business plans. This is all pretty long term stuff right now but think it can be done in a year or two.

edit: last year I stopped working out for a while to become a sad rake again. Well mission a success and within four months my transformation is already killer. Can't wait till month ten.

What's the name of the nutrition course?

If you really want to get into it, this is the best book out there for the in-depth everything

I passed the CSCS several years back and studying for that was pretty cool, but that book above is a monster.  This is the text for the CSCS:

sick ill look into that book

sick ill look into that book for sure. the program i wanna do is precision nutritions certification. it real in depth, i have the $800 textbook collecting dust already lol, cause i still need to sign up for the actual course. was given that book by one of their coaches though. it goes into coaching techniques, nutrition, programming and even heavy into prescription meds.

i think they might have a marketing course for personal trainers coming up soon, they keep talking about how trainers dont earn enough money, etc. regardless that is one avenue i am thinking of going. teaching trainers how to get their business' online and profitable. or at least make more than $18 an hour at the local gym

If any of you guys have a

If any of you guys have a super strong passion for something - anything... What you're going to want to do is build a site. This is what Manwhore was saying...

You want to create a blog.

Write plenty of articles, get as much traffic as posisble but make a fucking unique as fuck site. Do youtube videos, itunes podcasts. And most importnatly aggressively grow an email list.

You want to create courses on the niche that you're in. Sell them!

This is obviously very simplified.

But building great blog that gets 50 000 visits a month, building a 10 000 plus email list....

This could easily be a six figure business.

I passively started blogging three years ago or so. Now I'm pushing things much harder and doing about 10k a month consistently. Some months I've done more like 15-20. And now I'm getting some shit in place to hit 20k a month consistently. And I'm working on cracking this fb ads code so I can create an unlimited spending budget. Once that happens I'll be able to ramp my business into low 7 figures in less than a year.

But honeslty, I'd rather build like a 5k a month online business, then make 50k a month working some job or having some physical business that requires me to be on location or working all the time.

The freedom is incredible!

You could say that I created a perfect busienss to leverage my playboy lifestyle. At-least that's what it's turning into.
