Best thing to do if you want

Best thing to do if you want to keep her is adopt or learn to have some kind of role in it with her. Otherwise you two will be going off in different directions and it probably won't last.

Naw there's all kinds of

Naw there's all kinds of roles you can assume. Just look at the entertainment history it's an entire career vertical. Well plenty of those job descriptions can be complimentary to hers.

Regardless you're going to

Regardless you're going to have to adapt and expand. Rather than adopt tactics that are solely emotionally manipulative.

I dated an actress not to

I dated an actress not to long ago. She was awesome but got really clingy (We are at different places in life).

I found if you support them and show interest in their work - (I.E. - Help them with roles, suggest things, honest opinions on their work or what they should look into) that's usually enough. That's all I did and it made things actually super chill and you could tell she was appreciative of it.

Basically, show support and get involved a little by some sort of means that you're cool with. As long as there is effort and interest showing, they'll love it.

That's just my personal experience though.
