Gah so I am having to sell my 2012 audi a7. It's fucked. I've been reacting to the interior chemicals in the car, even though it's two years old. So I've been having super bad asthma. Crazy. I think it's from all the PVC chlorine in the car. Sucks balls. Or maybe chemicals the leather was treated with. Either way, there's some super strong chemical smells in the car, which I didn't think would have been an issue.

So the idea is to get a older sports car. I've narrowed it down between a 2005 aston martin DB9, dark grey with beige interior (65k canadian). This is the james bond car from casino royale. Super sexy. The other option is a 911 porsche turbo 2008. This one is black on black with red brake plates on the wheels. This one is 80k though.

What would you lean towards. I want something that is sexy as fuck. To go along with my high profile man of mystery fitness status. LOL.

Funny enough, I'm just looking forward to being able to drive the car I bought for once.

I've been having to drive a mazda and my 16 year old bro has been rocking in the a7 like a boss. Lucky guy.

Unbelievably tough decision,

Unbelievably tough decision, mang. Gots to drive them both see what's up. Remember in the end it's the driving experience and how it feels while you're driving that counts.

My dream car is a v12

My dream car is a v12 vanquish stick shift. But in this case I like the turbo. It's just a beast. The Aston is sweet, but the turbo is just fast as shit....but hahaha yeah like manwhore says it's an unbelievably tough decision lol

Yeah its fucking tough. The

Yeah its fucking tough.

The aston martin is more unique/rare. You don't see too many of these around here. It's the james bond car and it looks really sophistacated. It's a v12 so it's going to burn through fuel like a mother fucker tho. And lot of girls are clueless as to whan an aston martin is but I"m sure anyone takes one look at it and they know it's the shit.

Porsche turbo is a fucking porsche turbo. It's a bad ass of a car. It's a little more ostentatious and showy. But it's fast as fuck and looks like an absolute beast.

But damn, I don't know!

I'm looking at the 911 on thursday and db9 on friday. I'm going to get a feel for the interior and driver experience. I can't go wrong with either.

The aston martin is just a sexy car.  I mean aston martin.  What a great name.  But in this case, my inttuition is telling me the porsche.

It's a cold misty night.  You get into your car.  You fire it up.  The lights shine through the mist, cutting into the night.  That porsche is just dirty.

I'll try to get Jabronacock

I'll try to get Jabronacock on here he'll have the only other perspective I'd probably consider worth considering aside from your personal taste and experience driving them.

Oh man, what a choice.  For

Oh man, what a choice.  For me personally, the DB9.  I've fallen in love with Aston Martin ever since the baby V8 Vantage was released.  Just such a sexy car.  Aston came up huge ever since Ford sold the company.

A Porsche Turbo though makes this decision very tough.  It's really up to you and your personal taste.

The Porsche is all about performace, it's the ultimate drivers car.  If you're more concerned about how the car handles, how it drives, how fast it is, etc.  Defintely the Porsche is the car you want.

The Aston is not far behind though, and it's just so fucking beautiful.  Comfort, luxury, looks and attention - go with the Aston for sure.  The DB9 is a perfect Grand Tourer.  You'll be able to drive for days in that car in total comfort.

Speed, performance, handling, precision, track days - you can't beat a Porsche Turbo, unless you're in a new school Ferrari or Mclaren.  Like I said, Porsche's the ultimate drivers car.

Aston Martin +1 .......... but the Porsche is right behind.  I bet I'd choose the Porsche if I was feeling different right now haha.

This really comes down to your own personal preference.

p.s.-you'll feel like James Bond in the Aston ;)

p.p.s.-I just looked at the pics.  Good luck deciding between those two.  Good fucking luck.

Dude, thank you for this breakdown. Alright going in I think the aston may have the upperband. But ultimately, I won't know for sure until I can soak both these cars in. As well, I need to make sure I get a good appraisal for my a7. If one of them low balls me then that will factor in too, for sure.

But yeah, I don't need to have the ultimate drivers car for performance. So with my prioritites in mind, the aston may be the perfect car. We'll see!

Honestly, I kinda like my a7

Honestly, I kinda like my a7 over both of them.

The 2005 aston just didn't drive as well and the interior experience wasn't the same.

The a7 drives like a dream and has a solid amount of power. With a throttle boost I'd probably be set. I'm getting the a7 steam cleaned and will see if I can make it work. Fingers crossed.

Damn that's a man that knows what he wants lol. What about the porsche?
