Some negative thoughts I'd like to clear up- insight appreciated
i'm having a repetitive thought pattern that I just can't seem to get passed. Here it is:
I feel resentful towards super hot girls because I feel like they have everything so easy. They have abudance so they are constantly jumping around searching for the highest value possible. They get to experience all this value with no effort, because they are hot. And their attitude and behavior is very rarely challenged, because they are hot.
Where am I going wrong here? Its obviously quite chodey, how can I reframe this?
Your focus is just completely off. You should be focused on projects and shizz you have going on. You only have so much mental RAM, you're wasting yours on bullshit. Your prime directive is to be focused on what you got going on. I'm finishing my book, getting better and radder on my motorcycle, building a business into something much bigger, learning hip hop dance (bishes in class are looking at me now), got a personal boxing coach, fighting California, currently getting more ripped than ever before in my life, and always striving to look at my current mental paradigm and see where I need to step it up. For several years I had this sort of "hidden" elitist attitude and it was killing me, closing me off to so many relationships and opportunities. I didn't even realize it. And it was founded on something that really was based in discipline and strength, but the blind spot was massive and the consequences were the same.
In the end you can't count on anyone or anything to catapult you to success. Even these girls you think are getting so far ahead based on these opportunities and advantages you think they have, they're false positives. You MUST build your own empire. Your own marketing platform, your own brand. From scratch. With hard work and developing skill sets that are "not cool" and time-consuming and intensive. Anyone that got anywhere big-time, spent minutes to hours every day, that turned into weeks and months and years of developing a skill set that finally garnered them recognition and financial success. But you can never see all the hours and HOURS of lame ass toil they put into it. This is America, where most people think they can get paid to be "cool". It ain't the truth homey.
Several months ago you posted a question about your buddy you were arguing with over game or some social situation. He was telling you you needed to be nicer, but the way you communicated it I assumed incorrectly that he was trying to shame you back down into a lower personal paradigm. Then the story with the teacher in class that was giving you some shit apparently, I thought it was a semi-bullying situation. It wasn't, YOU have been trying to become the bully! Using game to do it.
It's your ego attempting to create a "I'm superior" identity. And you're working your ass off to maintain it, but it's only closing you off to the path you really need to be on.
I'll say this as well, but don't let this fuel your ego.. those girls you think are so hot, the ones acting fluffy and nonchalant about riding the social ladder.. they're not the ones that really succeed. Especially high school. Omfg dude.. really? Wait a few years and look back, it ain't pretty. But by that point you'll be so far past any sense of wanting to gloat, you'll want to help. I'm here in Vegas, in contact with several of the hottest and successful industry girls here. The ones that make it.. are nice, and humble about the work they have to put in. They work hard and play hard too but they're on some different shit. Same as in ANYTHING. Don't fall for the magic tricks, everything takes hard work. A lot of industry girls complain about not being taken seriously, and not only that but there's ALL KINDS of customers/clients/ballers that come in and treat them like absolute shit. Everyone's got their complaints. But the ones that succeed work through that shit and keep their personal goals their focus and priority.
Take a look at everything you've got going on in life.. every weekly or even daily activity you've got, and coalesce it into a larger goal. Even if it's developing better ball control in your soccer skill set, or reading a book on self-development, or marketing, or learning how to build websites. What was the last book you read? What was the last self-development article you read? What about entrepreneurialship?
As you think, so shall you become.

Larger goals: become a captain on soccer team, improve my weaker skills on the field, become a better runner, get into desired colleges, get into boxing/MMA, get rid of insomnia, pimpin
daily activites: timed mile and a half runs, sprints, dribbling and turning drills, work on college applications, find boxing coach/gym and figure out where and how to hang my heavy bag, meditate/hypnosis material before bed, drills
books to read: something on buddhism (watched a cool video yesterday), Did i ever wake up?-mod sun
Last book I read? half of a tony robbins book- probably should finish that
last self developement article? habit stacking article
entreprenuership? never read anything, not going into a business career but i'm sure the application is much greater

Not saying you're like him, AT ALL, but it's a similar mentality... and there are plenty of girls out there just "coasting" on their looks. But like MW said, it's a false positive. Deep down they have this sense of discomfort and insecurity with themselves because they know it won't last. That's what happens when you base your self-esteem on external values.

Personally dude, I choose not to think in terms of "value." People, especially girls, give you back what you put out. It's really as simple as that. If you put out positivity, and you are fucking firm and unshakeable in it, you'll start seeing normally negative grouchy people feel like they have to be positive too. It's like:
"Hey how's your day going."
"It sucks. I'm tired and this and that is going wrong bla bla bla. How's yours?"
"Pure awesomeness."

awesome thank you, thats kinda been the basis of my preseason so far. I'm not trying to be negative and bossy but positive and friendly, I want younger players especially to feel comfortable and enjoy playing.
