What does your sleep routine look like?
I'm having some serious issues with sleep, i've been an insomniac since I was a little, and as I accept more responsibility in my life my sleep quality is just not getting me through the day.
I'm really trying to figure this shit out, so i'm going to experiment with some different routines, and hopefully learn to properly get some rest. If there are any sleep experts here, please chime in!
I've got some questions for you guys that would really help out:
What do you normally do to get ready for bed? watch tv? meditate? listen to music? stretch? etc...
How do you awaken from sleep? alarm or naturally? (I heard somewhere that waking up mid sleep cycle is what causes people to feel like shit that day)
How long do you sleep for?
What is your routine upon awakening? turning lights on? shower? exercise? etc..
Any physcological techniques you use to go to sleep? I know MW has written about a few
Thanks boys!
I lie COMPLETELY STILL on my back, I have no problem getting to sleep. Sometimes go into sleep paralysis too and have lucid dreams for a bit which is cool.
45 minute naps work wonders if I'm tired too

I go into paraysis and go lucid too, but only when i'm deprived as fuck from sleep. I'd love to sleep like that every night
Straight on the back defintely is the best for relaxing the whole body, but I always find myself twisting and contorting my body all night, maybe i need to force myself to just stay on my back
I used to get shitty sleep - like wakin up feeling like a zombie. Until i read this article check it out: http://www.scrawnytobrawny.com/the-best-sleep-of-your-life

I listen to audio books. I lie on my back with my headphones on and just focus on the audio book. Knocks me the FUCK out.
