Are the tables turning on the "police state" mentality?

This shit is blowing up

It's all over the news, my family and friends are talking about it, and I see Manwhore posting articles everyday on facebook that are revealing the evil side of our police force in this country (thank you for that).

It really excites me too see this revolution because it is how America gets shit done. The tables are turning and the citizens are striking back. I wrote a research paper last year on NYC's "stop and frisk" program and it disgusted me. Police enforcement can not continue to be based on fearful ctizens and overly aggressive (fearful) cops. Guilty until proven innocent is unconstitutional. Like Manwhore has been saying, cops don't have the proper training and mindset to handle the power they have been granted. This power is reserved for our soliders. My buddy just got back from basic training for Army Infantry, and I was amazed by the mindset he has acquired. He told me about the confidence and dicipline he has gained, and how soldiers are trained to protect civilians first even if it means they are putting themselves in danger. I respect this so much, and this is what the police force is lacking. I think this has been obvious for years, but the media has been stuck with the whole black america and urban violence agenda, instead of revealing what the police were doing wrong.

The media is actually attacking the police now. I was watching Michael Brown's funeral on TV and the reporters seemed to undoubtly describe him as an unarmed victim, which to my knowledge is not 100% true. Honestly, I don't care if the media is taking it too far though, I think it is needed to make a real change. I have seen so much police corruption close to home, such as a drunk police officer running over a child with his cruiser and attempting to cover it up with the support of the entire department. I have no sympathy left for them.

Will we see police reform?

Last week I was going to the

Last week I was going to the gas station pretty late at night and I was cut off by two officers as we approached a large field. One of which didn't even have his lights on. A first I thought I did something wrong, and then I noticed a parked car on the side of the field. The two cops got out of their cruisers no more than 15 feet away from me, one of which had his gun out, and sprinted into the woods. No barrier was established and I was given zero instruction on what to do. So I quickly went into reverse and got the fuck outta there. Where is the leadership? for all I know I could have been stuck in the middle of a shoot out and the cops felt no need to protect me from the situation. A officer ran right by my car, all he needed to do was tell me to leave. Some idiots decided to keep on drivng by the scene too, thats just dangerous right there.
