Minor epiphany: When chicks like you they are evasive and or/quiet

So today on my way to getting some work done, I approach this cutie while I'm waiting for my train. I'm kind of hesistant but my motto is "Fuck It - I'm Young Why not". Talk to her, crack jokes, make her laugh, standard stuff.
We get on the train she sits in between two people and puts her headphones in, I stand up not too far from her and read some shit and play it cool. Usually I persist but a part of me is like damn you don't need to close EVERY single girl.
As she's getting off at her stop she's striking a shit load of convo with me and has the dog eyes of just take me daddy rubbing my shoulders as she leaves. She walked off.
I didn't beat myself up but I had that EUREKA! moment of yo when girls like you they are evasive because they're nervous and etc really fuckin sunk in. Wish I had this concept internalized.
