Eye contact question

Ive been really hitting on the basics recently. Tonailty+volume. Kino from the start, including cave manning and passive kino (or whatever the name is for it.. Letting her know you can devour her without actually doing it), I've been doing freedom from outcome excersizes like just high fiving randoms or saying hi and making a point not to talk to that girl the rest of the night.
Amount doing all this I've become much more aware of my eyes. My eye contact is super good. Especially when I'm about to go sexual before the makeout or when we're alone. I just shut up and stare deeply. But when we're in normal conversation my eyes tend to drift. Like with dudes, girls, fatties, my mom, best friends whatever. It's NOT because I'm trying to impress or I get nervous energy or anything. But instead naturally when I'm being expressive and talking passionately I tend to look to the side or away when thinking of the right word to say or to get in touch with my thoughts/emotions.
A) How bad is that to do? B) does anyone get what I'm talking about? Like even when I look away it's slow, calm and just allows me to gather my thoughts/get introspective
I thought I usually had sweet eye contact but just being more aware and I do this quite often with everyone.. Aka people im not trying to impress or tee up info with aka not really hot chicks.
So should I just focusing on always have laser eye contact even when talking to my good friend about a logical topic??

No dude its perfectly fine and normal. you dont always need to be staring in someones eyes when talking to them. thats really good that your doing it when trying to get intense though. But in a conversation its actually and upside. For example when i first meet a girl and i get her to tell me everything about herself by asking deep questions i tend to look away normally but still listen at the same time. Then i saw this video on the 21convention.com that was posted not to long ago and this guy was saying that you should do that cause shes thinking wtf is he thinking about and shell invest more and keep talking to hold your attention. Just dont be an asshole and act like you dont give a fuck when you do it haha. But yea eye contact is the shit, love it
