This is second engagement on POF.. I had let the last one fizzle out.
Me: Hey Champ Hows it goin?
Her: pretty good. you?
Me: Good just a relaxing day off. Gonna make a quick coffee and get some errands done. What are you up to?
Her: just got out of the shower then i'm going to my friends going away partyy.
Usually I just have something fun to interject but I'm at a loss for this one besides

Well you fucked up from the start by going all chode and common with "how are u?"
9/10 times what happened above is what will happen when you go say "how are you?" , "whats up?", etc.
I usually say dumb shit ALL THE TIME. Like I suck at thinking of what to say or some "epic line" so I just say whats on my mind or dumb stuff. Like lately I've been opening girls on facebook with "whats up lady my name's slim shady im the lead singer of d12 baby" or "yo girl u like wildlife?" [thanks evil stifler/jeffy] or whatever. But also facebook game is a bit different than text, haven't been texting new girls lately since I can't find any [lmao]. But its cool im going on a trip to the islands in the next few weeks so will be pimping it.
I find if you are told what to say you rarely learn from it and use it as a "crutch" or like default line instead of going natural.
Just be a cool / fun guy expressing himself, leading and giving value and you will know what to do at all points.
Oh and also you can still reengage this girl at any time if that wasn't made clear
