First Time trying Rapid escalation on a club.

I've never been much into nightgame really mostly because Im 19 (legal drinking age its 18 where Im from) but Im really interested in getting into rapid escalation. I really need some pointers though
I was out in a club last night, having a lot of fun dancing and stuff. I told myself that I would just talk to everybody that I wanted to, I pretty much did except for one girl at the end I guess I was tired.
I was dancing like crazy and some chicks just came dancing with me and my buddy, they were looking at us like we were the shit. So I guess that set up the mood very well.
I saw this girl that I wanted to make out with. She did a gesture like saying that the party sucked or something. I came to her and told her -wtf its wrong with you? (in a playfull way teasen her) I grabbed her by the waist got really close and she was ok with it. - why are such a hater? I said she was like: Im not bla bla bla. . . Then I saw that she was wondering around the balcony of the club. So I just took her hand walked her to the balcony, with my back on the rail of the balcony, grabbed both her hands and pretty much went in for the kiss. She didnt went for it, she said something that I didnt fully uinderstand like: how can I tell you dude? Im not into you, something like that. I was like- that's cool. (I really dont give a fuck Im just experimenting)
I really need calibration on that. After what I did she was orbitating around me at the club, dancing really sexual so I could see her, so I dont know. I touched her back once after a while, I she had the same attitude, so I was like, -fuck it.
Thoughts someone? I guess I didnt read her very well? not sure. Am I fucking up here? or in the good track?
