Making Girl-Friends

Alright, ever since hs i never really had a social circle; just kept a few regular friends around but was an internet addict and gamer most of the time. It's cool now - i can handle myself socially BUT i've never had chicks around to bask in that feminine energy ya know; they've only ever been acquaintances to be honest.
I've been going out solidly since November last year, and i'm starting to realize the value of building a social circle with some chicks. Lately, the uber hotties i speak to on nights out who give me the BF card ill just take their number for social reasons - my bro does promoting, etc.
My problem is that sometimes i can be super solid with these chicks during text or wateva, and then i slip into sending weird pua texts which they don't respond to:
"Heyy girl how's the good life", no response
Then 2 days later
"You checked out the new Justin bieber album? It's makin me question my manhood but f'real..that kid's got lungs on him!" no response
This is the type of shit i send to these model-esque lookin chicks with BFs. But i've also had them in stitches with earlier texts in which i looked like the funniest guy ever.
So, any advice on social circle game for a 19 year old on his way to Uni this September?
P.S - Eventually i wanna fuck these chicks.

Focus on getting a solid group of guy friends... then focus on bringing girls into that group, it's a lot easier to work it from this angle instead of going for girls first and then dudes.
As far as dudes go- totally just be yourself, like even more so than girls, dudes just like being with other guys who have their shit handled and are totally themselves... personally, I don't care what my buddies do as long as they are passionate about it, are loyal and don't freak out over shit...
Once you have a solid group of dude friends, the girls literally just sorta naturally come because you guys will be having a blast and other people just always want to be involved in it. The cool part is that everyone brings somethign to the table, so sometimes you'll be bringing girls through, sometimes your buddies will but I promise you, if you get a really solid group of dude friends, girls will always be around.

@Gogo: agree with buddha. Work on getting a crew together who are chill. ( your boys ) If you want to build a social circle you might wanna hold off on hooking up with girls and just be their friend for the sake of the circle. The good times will roll and its only inevitable that more girls and cool dudes will want in on the fun.
Like my core group consists of loyalty, being chill, and just being yourself. None of us care if a dude cant pull. Like if youre a good friend people will genuinely just want to be your friend because its kindve rare. This is gonna sound lame but its chill to have girls just to kick it with as friends too. Plus theyre willing to hook you up with their girl friends which is cool.

In terms of social circle stuff, one of the clients I'm working with now is more or less the official "social circle guru" -- he has TONS of awesome shit when it comes to building social circles properly. His trademark story is that he came to the US from London with nothing, and within 3 months was living a "rockstar" lifestyle, dating a former miss arizona, invited for sunday lunch at the playboy mansion, got flown to tahiti on a private jet, got bought a drink from the governor of california's private $2k bottle... yada yada.
