Moving to NYC

Hey guys, I've been getting Manwhore coaching for the last few months which have been great.
I'm 30 and moving to NYC for two months at the end of Feb and will be working on the upper east side (68th and 1st).
I plan on going out as much as I can.
First I was hoping to get suggestions of where to live that would be close to work and nightlife. I try to stay away from the college age chicks if possible, they bore me too easily.
Also don't really know anybody in the city so if anyone's down it'd be great to meet up with some of you.
