The first text was a joke that I was keeping her IG tag line instead of using her real name. Since her IG tag line was a play on words of her real name

So I had a chick who was enthusiastic about meeting and everything but was not in town or had a big exam. Now we're after the exam and her responses are kinda shitty, never really engaging, so I gave this a try.
so after some banter:

He: I don't like when someone is turning rusty easily (hope the translation is good)
So yeah that was the exact reason I've never tried this before. I felt it can be easily misinterpreted as a low-value msg. Most likely I just lost the attraction with that chick over the long time gap, maybe it's a bit cultural diff. too. So if I had more value in her eyes it would've worked out differently.

Thats not your issue. I’ve used that line and its worked for me. Same date lay :). I push it sometimes by adding in a “:p” to soften the blow but other times not.

Actually, it was also a repetitive non-investment in my case, that's why I thought that line would be ideal. Good idea with the ":P" it might have been enough actually, gotta be more careful with these European chicas. She's cute but not super hottie, so self-esteem may come into play as well when interpreting the msg.
